We would like to thank Stefano for organising an excellent seminar and his wonderful choice of Korean restaurant afterwards. Congratulations to him also for successfully passing his 3rd Dan on the Sunday. We look forward to working closely with their organisation in the future.

Ron Evans, Chief Instructor Kea Hand 2 Hand Fighting and Technical Advisor to BDMAA held what can only described as a “no nonsense” Self-defence seminar on Saturday, 13th October with the help of Dave Evans of the West Yorkshire Martial Arts College. The Day was enjoyed by all invited and quite an eye-opener to those who had not encountered Ron before. Later, all six Black Dragon Instructors were awarded their “Phase 2” in the Kea/Black Dragon Hand 2 Hand Fighting Method. Special Thanks to Ron and Dave from all the Black Dragon Instructors and we hope this is the first of many more to come.
A good time was had by all at the Black Dragons’ Archery Day on the 30th of June at Lyme Park, Stockport. Members of the club and their families and friends banded together as merry men for this most enjoyable event. Many thanks to Hugh and the Bowmen of Lyme Park for organising the day for us.
On the 19th June 2012, after a four month assessment of his skills, Nick Bennett was awarded 2nd Dan. The BDMAA Instructors congratulate him for all his hard work.

The Black Dragons presented a Multi Style Martial Arts evening with our friends from the Scottish Fighting Arts Society and Goshin-Jitsu Association Scotland on Friday 17th February 2012 at the Romiley Liberal Club. This was followed by a meal at a local restaurant. The evening was great success and we would like to thank everyone for their participation and look forward to see them all soon.
Senior instructors of the Black Dragon Martial Arts Academy are pleased to welcome Ron Evans as chief instructor in the Black Dragon hand-to-hand fighting methods and weapons. Ron has spent numerous years in the Military as an instructor; and also as a senior instructor in the Todd System of Close Combat.
All the senior instructors were invited to Inverness on the 8th of October this year to teach at the annual Scottish Fighting Arts Society Seminar, representing both B.D.M.A.A and C.Q.C.S.
